About this metal privacy fence project
This Weeki Wachee property backs up to heavy woods, and the owners wanted full privacy that would never need painting or staining. We installed black Dura Fence, a metal privacy panel with a scalloped top, along the entire tree line.
Dura Fence goes up on a framework we set in the ground first. One of the photos shows that stage, before the panels go on. Once the framework is square and plumb, the panels fasten on in a continuous run, so the finished fence stays straight even across uneven ground.
We finished the job with a double gate on the yard side for mowers and equipment. The black finish disappears into the trees from a distance and looks sharp up close.
